About Us

Use this section to describe your company and the services you offer. You could share your company’s story and details about why you are in business. The goal is to create a connection with the visitor and give them confidence to work with you.

The business is owned by Maria Gloria Guifaya and started as a home-based order-type business in 1995.  It started with initial capital of Fifty Pesos (P50.00) which they spent in purchasing coconuts, sugar and grinding fee of glutinous rice.  The glutinous rice is free because it was their own farm produce since her husband is a farmer and so with the fire woods because this was abundant in their barrio. She also inherited all the utensils and clay oven from her mother.
When the volume of orders got bigger a year after or in 1996, she registered and formally opened her business.  Her friends, walk-in customers and relatives would order to her and later, she is getting orders from friends of friends. As more orders came, their family saw the need to expand their business for the convenience of their customers.  This time in order to accommodate more customers, they decided to hire more helpers and transferred to a bigger and more conducive place along the highway.

With the assistances of various government agencies like DOST, DTI, TESDA, DA, LGU and the private sectors, they  were able to improve their products, constructed modern building that housed their  production and display area, participated to various trade fairs, availed financial assistance from the DOST in 2010 amounting to Three Hundred Thousand (P300,000.00) payable for three years at zero interest rate which they used to upgrade their equipment, increase their production of Bibingka and hire more employees. To date, they are now the owner of Maria’s Bibingka  Pasalubong Center/ OneStore Hub selling various products coming  from her fellow MSMEs in Region 02.  Their minimum production of bibingka is around 100 pieces per day and their customers are increasing  not only within Region 02 but  as far as Manila and Cebu.
